Neuroplastic Training for Healthcare Professionals
Jean’s Neuroplastic Training

Throughout over 20 years of working as a natural therapist - a combination of naturopathy, kinesiology, yoga teacher, relaxation, and meditation techniques I have used elements of all of my training throughout those years.

Add to this the invaluable experience and lessons taught to me by my clients.
I Want to Pass on my Clinical Knowledge
As a consequence, overtime I believe my skills improved with a concomitant improvement in my clients’ health problems in a timely manner. It is in these last two that have become one of the most important reasons for beginning my neuroplastic training for a variety of health practitioners.

There are probably more modalities that can benefit from my introduction to neuroplasticity and its implications in health and wellness. If your name is not on the list I still invite you to read on as this may be your opportunity particularly if you are starting on a second career. I will give you what is described in marketing as a unique selling point (USP).
USP - What Makes your Special
You might ask why those starting on a second or perhaps even third career in the health industry. I have been there I started my training as a naturopath and massage therapist my 50s and a bit later did my yoga training. I soon learned about some of the difficulties of getting your business up and running and making money because we all have to eat!
I remember my early days when I would have an initial consultation and wonder why they didn't rebook I had a plan to change their health, but I forgot to tell them, so they just walked out the door.
And I'm sure that some of my fellow naturopaths will remember many of their first clients could only be described as not their best clients.
As a consequence, I believe my years of experience which I am converting into simple to use resources and easy to learn techniques for both your client and yourself will increase your client report and client self-efficacy.
Because regardless of what we do the body heals itself and it heals itself easier and quicker if a client understands your advice or strategies, then uses them with motivation, curiosity and enthusiasm.
Don’t we all want that!
Positivity, Kindness, and Hope.
We have all heard of the placebo effect and I readily admit it's definitely part of my treatment philosophy.
Unfortunately, its opposite nocebo needs to be examined as if we as health practitioners are not fully aware and don't understand the effects of nocebo and don't take it into consideration when either first meeting a client who is beginning their healthcare journey or more likely you will have a person who has heard many negative unnecessary messages about their condition.
The result of this can cause them to be locked into chronic pain or other chronic conditions because of medical information that may be incorrect, too casual or a habit of not being positive and feel they have to fully cover any possible however unlikely negative outcomes.
Engaging your Client's Brain
Often we are so busy sharing all our knowledge that we have learnt - it we enjoy our work and believe in what we do we need to take care.

While we are thinking and problems solving what is our client doing?
